60-Seconds #320 : Should history be erased? Should we let Google erase our memories if they're out of date?

Back in September I was following the story about the guy in Europe who wanted to "be forgotten" by Google. It's really unbelievable to me that intelligent people would come up with something like this. Of course, there are some real kooks in this world after all. Then an article by Corinne Iozzio in Popular Science brought the issue to broad daylight. You can manipulate and even erase history just by exploiting Google! 60-Seconds #320 : Should history be erased? Should we let Google erase our memories if they're out of date?

"Spring Pastel" -- Spring is here at last! A wonderful time for your pastel palette (?) But Pastel is also the medium... sometimes!

April is also brought to you by the letter "A"

It is said that April was named thus by Venus*, as Aphrilis, from her Greek name Aphrodite* -- and ALL illustrators and designers SHOULD be familiar with this

The 25th Year for Design, Type & Graphic

Yes, it hasn't really felt like 25 years since the DT&G was launched on those first online communities, and shared by many, many Dynamic Graphics seminar attendees! It's been a pleasure, and we hope you have enjoyed it as much as we have. Now here's the scoop: things are about to change.
The online world has changed so much, with tens of thousands of graphic design sites, there's no longer a viable model for DT&G. I feel like much of our content areas can simply be eliminated. With social media, there's no longer a need for 'community' or interaction between readers. So the Design Center and DT&G are about to transcend to the next chapter. I plan to continue with 60-Second Windows and 60-Seconds.com. But I'll be fine-tuning the content I concentrate on to more closely purvey and share my strongest contributions to the graphic design community. I think it will be fun, and I'm hoping you'll like it and stick around!o

Looking ahead: May, June July

In May we continue our color theme and look at palettes that open the gates for spring and summer.
June: opens Design Summer and we'll take those digital cameras out for a spin. It's looking like a good summer on the way for graphic designers!

For now, have a great time in the April DT&G

Once again you've wasted a perfectly good hour reading the DTG newsletter. Hopefully all is not wasted and you've gained at least one helpful tidbit of info

Thanks for reading
