I kinda stumbled on to this site and I'm glad I did. I'm the editor for a small newsletter in the Bronx that reaches about 600 young people 3 or 4 times a year and designs and graphics are a favorite topic of mine. I've been thinking of starting a small -- VERY small business in the field and have absolutely no ideas, not to mention no computer....I do all the newsletter stuff at work. We design and produce tradeshow displays and permanent displays for information centers, museums, etc. If you have any questions about graphic requirements for these types of applications, feel free to contact me. We have in-house production of large format digital graphics and vinyl graphics as well as desk top design in both Mac and PC programs. Your site has a lot of potential. Good luck with it - I'm sure it takes a lot of time and effort to keep it fresh.

I'm new to computer graphics, and am struggling... at home to learn adobe photoshop on my pc.... Slowly I've acquired greated depth with it, when I... FINALLY discovered LAYERS! <-- feel the relief... when I finally realized I could DO THAT!! no more starting... over! Anyway, I'm here to see if there's more to learn

We have a Phase One 5000x7200 pixel digital camera back... that creates 101MB raw RGB TIFF Files. We are total color... managed with Color Blind Software. Output is on the new 50" Encad Nova Jet... or Scitex Iris. We are working with artists to archive their work and then output it one at a time.
