- If you're into full texts of books, the "Online Books Page" at the
Univ. of Pennsylvania has more than 15,000 full-text books available for free. Sometimes
text is best. If you travel with a laptop, download the texts. Then you can load
a RAM disk, and read from New York to LA without depleting your battery! (Don't forget
to load the full text and the text reader into your RAM disk, and run the whole thing
without spinning up the hard drive!)

- Another worthy of your attention is the National Academy Press with more than

with over 4000 etexts that can be viewed online or the files can be downloaded for
