The powers of macros...
the power of QuicKeys

This is not really as much of a review as it is a blatant endorsement for the product. I purchased QuicKeys when they first came out. I evangelized the product and publicly stated that Apple should purchase it from CE and include it on every new Mac that's shipped. I love the program, have come to rely on it and highly recommend it to any computer user who must perform the same step more than three times. It's that good.

... If you're a Photoshop user I double that claim. QuicKeys coupled with Photoshop Actions is probably one of the most powerful combinations you'll find for Photoshop. Period. How about batch processing on steroids? Open each file in a folder with your graphics program, reduce the palette, crop, change, drop-shadow, whatever -- then save as JPG, renaming with .jpg. All without scripting.
... Are you an Illustrator user? Rejoice. Ever since Adobe started building those stupid palettes into Illustrator it has become less and less productive. Todays Illustrator takes 18-times as many clicks or trips to the menus or palettes to accomplish the very same operation as version 3.2. They turned it into palette-play-time for amateurs and beginners just to sell more product. Real designers or illustrators, don't need Adobe's window-dressings. You know what you want, and know what it will look like. With QuicKeys you rid yourself of all those bogus extra steps Adobe has thrown into the program -- you can get down to business without worrying about interface. Bingo -- streamlined productivity -- more work, less time!
Over the years I've generated literally thousands of QuicKeys. For everything from copying floppies to building complete, ready-to-type, stationary pages.

Let's take a look at some of the powers hidden in QuicKeys...
