Photoshop free plug-ins to panoramas
... and more!
It's a jungle out there...
Well, we've wasted another perfectly good two hours scouring the web for cool Photoshop stuff. And, actually, I shouldn't say waste -- I know thousands of you really enjoy this column, because hundreds have written in to say so! (They say, on the web: "for every one who contacts, there are another thousand who would have but didn't."
Keep watching this column, because sometime this summer, it's going to turn into its own blog here under the Design Center roof. We're really looking forward to it, because then you'll be able to comment directly to each madness we find!
Get a FREE PHOTOSHOP BOOK
I'd like to send you one of my favorite Photoshop books. But you know, it costs as much as four bucks to send a book anywhere in the continental U.S. (Sorry, no international shipping!) So, you should do something to deserve a new, free, top-selling Photoshop book, shouldn't you? Sure.
So, send in your article about a favorite "Photoshop Madness" sighting you have found -- include a graphic, and 25 words or more about the sighting, along with your mailing address, and in a few days, you'll get a brand new Photoshop book. Okay?
Make the initial contact and get going!
And now... Photoshop Madness ...

Princess of Shadows Photo Actions
Liliana Sanches says: "You don't know me and never will, I dont care about what you think of me. I'm not here to make friends and Im not here to fall in love. I'm here for the Art. This is all you need to know."
She can say that! She's a PHD in Graphic Design, currently working as a freelancer designing logos, corporate image - websites, illustration, photography, photomanipulation, cd/ book covers and booklets.
Her collection of Photoshop actions is pretty impressive -- testament to what you'll find after considerable digging in Deviantart.

Tutorial on FIRE
Jayan Saputra dreams up some pretty spectacular effects, and this one is literally on fire. In this tutorial, he shows you how to manipulate a picture so it looks like a woman burning in flames. The idea behind this manipulation was to create a nice looking illustration, only by using simple techniques and tools such as the Brush tool and Warp command.

Eduardo Recife Misprinted Type
Misprinted Type is online since 1998 and it's the playground for Eduardo Recife's wonderful collage, assemblage works of art. But not only does he create stunning Photoshop "retro assemblage" he makes some pretty unique fonts. (As seen above, or in this pop-up enlargement.) Eduardo writes:
"I've been drawing since I was little. At school I had notebooks filled with drawings instead of notes. I used to tattoo my buddies with a black ink pen. I used to draw on any kind of surface when I was bored... I believe its what I do best. Its also the best way for me to comunicate things I cant find words for... It's a theraphy, it's a hobbie, its a job, it's what makes me happy."
