You may not recognize that name, but Vernon brought a ton of fonts into the world, including the Oxygen font. He was licensed to Google. Sadly, Vernon passed away in 2016 due to a tragic scooter accident.

While the connected world, through Google, will be enjoying Vernon's fonts for a long, long time his family doesn't get a solidary dime from any of his work.
