Banner year for P22
Yes, P22 and the International House of Fonts (IHOF) have been busy since April... releasing three (3) new font styles from IHOF designers Michael Clark and Paul Hunt.

From acclaimed lettering artist and IHOF designer, Michael Clark, comes Peanut -- a font full of bounce and liveliness. Peanut is based on the traditions of the long revered Roman miniscule. The letters are unique in that they imply "youth" without relying on cliché child-like letterforms. The set contains the fonts Peanut Regular and Peanut Salted which features alternate letterforms. Both fonts are combined into Peanut Pro with OpenType features. (Sample | Site | PDF Brochure)

P22 Zaner, designed by Paul Hunt, is based on ornamental penmanship as taught by Charles Paxton Zaner at his art college at the turn of the 20th century. The Zaner font set includes four unique fonts that complement the other fonts in the set. Each font is available in PostScript and TrueType formats as well as OpenType which offers even more characters, options and overall functionality. Set options include PostScript and TrueType with a bonus set of extras and a "super" pro set containing over 3,000 characters. Zaner is perfect for wedding invitations and documents that require a touch of elegance. (Sample | Site | PDF Brochure)

P22 Allyson, designed by Paul Hunt, is based on an old metal font by
Barnhart Bros. & Spindler named "Hazel Script." The font is perfect for
elegant invitations and certificates and has been expanded to meet the
needs of today's computer user to include a full character set. Also
available is Allyson Pro with OpenType features. (Sample | Site | PDF Brochure)

The P22 Constructivist set was originally designed in 1995 as a system of 5 fonts that could be mixed and matched to achieve a variety of constructed alphabet display font settings. Many of the letters were based directly on the specific letterforms of Revolution era artists such as Rodchenko, Popova and Strakhov. Other letters were simply inspired by the bold forms of the artwork of Malevich and El Lissitzky. With the expanded Opentype version, we have unionized the 5 fonts and added many new characters into one "Pro" font- more alternates, more language support, more circles and squares. (Sample | Site )
All three are available now from P22. Prices start at $19.95 for single fonts.
P22 has improved its Typecaster, combining all 5 divisions of P22 into one convenient font test setting tool. Once you find the right font for your needs, you can click on "Info" and select "Purchase Options" to go right to that font's page.
A great year for P22
