WDR Staff:

Vision Unlimited suffers from the same ills that plague hundreds of other sites.
__ We believe that "Visions" really does have a vision, yet is having a bit of trouble visually communicating that vision.
__ Some of the art is very cliche. Ad we don't consider that a 'vision.'
One reviewer said they felt it was the work of one who had been "surfing too much" (interesting observation!)
__ We believe the art director here should comb through some outside forces. Take a trip to the library and spend the afternoon looking in the ART section and perhaps even the architecture section. A stop at the local magazine rack could be helpful too... look at the pages of some of the more avant garde magazines.
__ We all seemed to agree that less decoration and more "painting outside the lines" is in order... letting these pages make their own statements, without 'web' influence.
__ We also will contact the submitter of this site and hope these comments are taken as an invitation to open up.
__ There truly is some creative vision here... we can see it just peeking out from the shadows. We want to return to this site and watch as it unfolds into the vision its namesake deserves!

"Vision Unlimited" Well-designed site, loaded quickly (altho' I must note I'm on a T1), good background graphic w/subtle animation, excellent use of quick-loading thumbnails.
__ Especially liked the free postcards (I sent one) and the "Conscious Cafe." Good consistent theme across pages. I'll revisit...

I was not impressed. Warning visitors right off that the graphics would take a while to download was a good idea, but I was disappointed when they got there.
__ No spam that I saw. Navigation was okay. The black star background has been done... and done... and now it's been done in pink and purple. Wow.

Yes, it was beautiful, yes it took forever to download, and I suppose if you're into astrology and art, it would be worth the wait. I like art, but am not much interested in astrology, and didn't want to extend download time, so limited myself to the first page.
__ If I were interested in the subject, as those will be who visit the site (I assume) I would rate it top notch. The graphics are stunning, the animation minuscule but appropriate and the descriptions descriptive enough to let me know if I wanted to visit further. On a scale of 5, I rate it 4 1/2.

Loaded very fast for a graphically intensive site. At first I was dismayed by the same old "space" background, but it looked much better when the large graphic loaded.
__ However, the effect of all the beautifully done graphics was totally spoiled by the appearance of the infamous animated rainbow bar! That particular graphic has appeared on a million+ Web pages (usually hosted on Geocities, Tripod, or AOL).
__ The postcard page should be set in a table so that it doesn't overlap the lefthand graphic. Or, even better, it should be set on a plain black background to emphasize the postcard graphics.
__ Beautiful graphics!
