Wine Site: "Loved the Layout"

This is my own site we work on it with a staff of 2 partime developers and two partime sales and marketing people... tell us what you think of it and how it can be better. Thank You.

Reviewing new websites day after day can be a little frustrating. But hurrah! a website that I loved! Layout excellent. Use of graphics - appropriate. Load time.
__ A little slow but acceptable as text loads first! Which gives me a headstart on the reading and hints of what goodies are to come. I have audited another Wine Producers website recently advising on what a web site could do for promoting and selling wine. Think I will suggest a browse through wine.com as being an excellent example.
__ The small "tuneups" I may suggest include: Make complete paragraphs clickable ie Corporate Gift Program/Gift Certificates/Address Book. As "older" wine buffs start clicking they don't always have the fine mouse/hand movement that the younger folk have.
__ Also, and this is real picky. The standard text navigation choices at the bottom of the screens are limited in helping me get around the site? If I want to click from White to red selections I have to mouse up to find a naviga! tion button.

* WD&R Comments: Roy has the right idea, and we're delighted that he pointed out "headstart on the reading and hints of what goodies are to come" ... all web crafters should be aware that if a site is to have lots of graphics that may take a long time on slower computers or connections, they should provide html text that comes up right away. This captures the eye and softens the fact that the graphics haven't loaded yet. If you go to some of the dynamicly generated sites like ZDnet you wait and wait and wait, while staring at a flat white screen, until the browser digests all the code the server has thrown at it. Frankly we don't understand why these sites are so heavily trafficed.
__ Wine.com is a good content site, and we recommend it for all lovers of fine wines.
