In Photoshop's COLOR RANGE you can set the "fuzziness" of a color range selection.
__ Here you'll designate how sensitive that selection is. You can even set "1" and get ONLY that color.
__ Then, you can add more colors to the selection by using the Dropper+ icon tool and select away. Make sure you have your image at a very close view.
It's much the same in other image editing programs as well
