Website for a photographer (SEE: WDR CRITIQUE) I just built this site for a friend of mine and would like your professional opinion. It is built using flash MX, and I've had mixed reviews so far. The artwork displayed is mostly unique paintings made with oil and acrylic paint. Cie Art is one of a kind in the way which its content is presented. Both vertical and horizontal aspects are used to incorporate a cascading motion of movement throughout the site. The layout of the site is meant to be easy on the eye and encompass the feeling that all the space is used properly. The CieArt.com flash section is designed to integrate website functionality as a digital art form to show visual pictures by enhancing the senses experience through relative subject matter. Flash animation was used for the 'gallery' to show blow-ups of the images. This gave us copyright protection for the larger image sizes and also meant shorter loading times since you only viewed 3 thumbnail images and 3 blow-ups at a time before you clicked to the next images. Also the design was kept simple and clean on a white background because all the paintings are very bright. Is it simple to navigate and what improvements should I make i.e. text and/or design?
