This is their first website and it led to redesigning the "look" of their group. The white and green swoosh is their trademark signature now and is very recognized in their city. It has downloadable registration forms, student led devotions that will change from week to week, and meets the demand the Student Minister needed. The website is the Bureau's information dissemination tool for the general public's utilization. The group is a not-for-profit organization incorporated under the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Many of its 80 members are over age 65. Getting members to submit material for this website is an exercize in futility. So the webmaster (self-taught) simple uses it to practice his "skills." Suggestions for improvement to this site will be considered. Thank you, sewwug http://www.sewwug.org - Bruce Schneider, posted for review on: Girl Scouts - Great Blue Heron Council The site is mostly for adult volunteers: troop leaders, consultants, day camp, etc. We change the photos monthly and try to use photos from leaders who do things with their girls and send them to the council. The site is organized by color/sections to ease navigation. The drop down menu was just added to increase ease of use. It's a place for all volunteers and for those interested in supporting Girl Scouts to find out what's happening, learn about procedures and to download forms. Volunteer usage of the site is way up, but we'd like ideas to improve our site further.
