We have fully tested the HTML/Link checking services of NetMechanic, and found them
to be one of the best on the web.
Before submitting your web site to WebDesign & Review, for critique, please have
your pages validated. You may use any validation service you like, however we have
found NetMechanic to be an excellent free services.
- HTML Check
- NetMechanic sends a robot to check the HTML of your pages. They'll use an automatic
syntax and usage checker which supports the HTML code to version 3.
Use the "Background Option" and they will send you e-mail with a report. You can also go to the pages referenced and capture the source of the pages so you'll have a record of the links and pages to run locally on your own computer. Please read the documentation.
. - Link Check
- This service checks the links of one or more pages of your site with an automatic
link checker. If you've got a big site with lots of links, use the background option.
