Design & Publishing . / . WEB . / . Paw-Print Software's "AdBin"
| At last... the ultimate demise of web site screen spam (continued) | |
Adbin
uses an extensible set of rules to identify ads and when it finds an image that it
suspects is an ad, Adbin replaces it with an image directly from the PC s local drive.__ As Adbin watches and interacts with IE from the side lines, its impact on performance is too small to be noticed. (closer look?) Thanks Joyce Evans for capturing the screens for us! |
|
|
__ As a user of Adbin you can modify or extend the
set of rules which instruct Adbin on how to identify an ad. You can also decide which
images are used to replace ads and which under what circumstances.
Now if they'll just come out with a MAC version, we'll have it made! <= back to "AdBin" . . . Out to the WebDesign Front Page => |
