I've read and used the Bible series since the very beginning. In the beginning there was only Photoshop. Then Illustrator was added. And the rest is history. If there's anything in the software not covered in these books, then you don't need it or want it. The complete bookshelf for Adobe CS5 makes you the pro

Here's the way I have gotten the most out of this bookshelf over the years: Purchase 3-ring binders, then take the books to Kinko's or your local printer and have the spins shaved off. Tell them to "SHAVE" the spines, carefully, book by book. (Don't remove more than you need to!) Then have them drilled to match your 3-ring notebooks -- that way, they lay flat, and you can pull out just the sections you are working on. Tab dividers are easily added -- whole chapters, or your most frequently used study can be transferred to a narrower 3-ring binder for easy reference.

IF you use the books -- and use them correctly, you won't need any other training other than just a good forum or discussion group online for specific questions.
