Art exhibit, 'Hometown Heroes,' is free and open to the public at Silver Lake College

Four years have passed since U.S. Marine Cpl. Justin Cain of Manitowoc was killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan.
      But his memory lives on with family and friends. One of those family members, Kryssa Luckow, has dedicated her art exhibit, "Hometown Heroes," in memory of Cain, her third cousin. The exhibit, which is free and open to the public, opened Nov. 1 and continues through Dec. 14 in the Art Department Gallery at Silver Lake College

Disney Fan Turns Himself into Big Hero 6's Hiro Hamada with 3D Printed Costume

The story is about a bond that forms between an inflatable robot known as Baymax and a robotics prodigy known has Hiro Hamada, who team with a bunch of other high tech heroes to form a team to take on a criminal plot.
      In the spirit of 3D printing, one video and graphic designer based in New York City, who has a keen liking of Disney characters, decided to use his MakerBot 3D printer, and various design tools to create his very own Hiro Hamada costume.
