Godzilla goes Macintosh
Anam Engst's "TidBITS" reported on this last week, and I just had to pass it along to you.
Charismac Engineering has introduced a 4-port FireWire hub embedded into an 8-inch (20 cm) tall plastic Godzilla toy. The ports are in his scaly back, his eyes are red LEDs, and there's a blue LED in his mouth (the LEDs all light up whenever Hubzilla is connected to your Mac). No drivers are necessary, though an optional power adapter (sold separately) provides external power Hubzilla costs $75 and they're taking orders for the holiday season in anticipation of a total sell-out.
If you're a Mac user and don't subscribe to TidBITS you should. Check them out at www.TidBits.com
Thank you Adam Engst and TidBits for that one. http://www.charismac.com/Products/hubzilla/   [top]
