Spring is "Bustin' Out All Over" with Fonts
Good friend and colleague Chuck Davis has been busy in the Letterheads site and has sent us a whole list of new font creations -- both commercial and freeware! What I liked best is the new gallery showing knock-out samples of their fonts in use for dazzling signage of all kinds. We'll give you the full details in this month's &Type! column

Aunt Abigail comes to the aid of new digicam owners
If you've bought a new digital camera but are frustrated by complex photo storage, you should pay a visit to Aunt Abigail. Aunt Abigail's Photo Album Software is the easiest way to organize digital photographs. And 'she' is launching the second version of this popular computer application. The software program makes it amazingly easy for users to place and print their digitized photos and captions on pages of paper or to create whole albums.
Aunt Abigail's Photo Album software is also easy to try and buy. Download the Photo Album program either as a purchase for $29.99 or on a 60-day free trial. It takes just a few minutes to learn, and in no time you are sizing and placing photos on pages anyway you please. You can also add captions, and print the results on any popular color printer with great results. Aunt Abigail's Photo Album contains various shapes, from hearts to ovals, that can be used to crop photos to give them customized looks.

A Breahthrough In Image colorization
Blackmagic caught our attention in a recent post to the web site, and we're going to be testing it for you. BlackMagic is used to colorize Black & White, Sepia, or IR (infrared) photos, or to color-correct ones with faded or inappropriate colors. Being extremely simple to use, its a software that transcends age and professional boundaries. The resulting colorized photos have optimally saturated and consistent, correct hues - giving the appearance as if the photo had originally been 'shot' in color! BlackMagic delivers such professional grade results with the minimum of fuss, and just a few minutes worth of effort.

Free Course on Network IP Cameras
Here's a free online education program focused on the emerging Network IP Camera technology and its many applications. A Network IP Camera is a stand-alone device which allows a user to view live, full motion video from anywhere on a computer network, even over the Internet, using a standard web-browser. Businesses are increasingly finding this a more economical alternative to high-priced Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) systems. Features such as motion sensing with email notification, simultaneous user login, and FTP upload capability further differentiate the device from current video technology.
The purpose of NetworkIPCamera.com is to educate first, and sell product second.
