iView Multimedia

... more features, multi-platform

One of the long time "BEST" products for the Mac has been iView. We've evangelized it to all Mac users, awarding it an Academy Award the year it was released, and seeing it win virtually all the other important after that. However, one long standing complaint has been that we could not share the iView slide shows and collections to our Windows friends. Let's face it -- with Mac being only about 9% of the computers in use, you're eventually going to want a Windows user to enjoy the wonderful features of iView. Well, here you go.
iView Multimedia has launched iView Media for Windows and Mac-based computers. Designed for a consumer audience, iView Media is based on the company's award-winning iView MediaPro, which is widely used by photographers, graphic designers, and other media professionals. iView Media is easy to use and powerful. It allows users to manage, share and protect their whole inventory of digital media - including photos, graphics, video and music clips. Find it. Share it.
iView Media permits users to manage photos, music, graphic images, video and music on their computer hard disks, CDs, servers or the world wide web. Its efficient, economical design means that it takes little space on a computer's hard drive. It supports more than 70 different file types from JPEG to DV to Movies and reads metadata standards such as EXIF, QT and IPTC. Its friendly, intuitive look and feel makes managing a wide range of media easy and fun. With iView Media, you can:

Pricing and Availability

iView Media for Windows and iView Media for Mac are available now at $29.95, and support Windows 98/ME/2000/XP and Mac OS 9 and OS X. This version is free to existing users of iView MediaPro. Features include: support for CRW format from new Canon Cameras (import Canon RAW files); reduced size of movies during export of QuickTime presentations; improved results in 'find duplicates.'
A Windows-based version of iView MediaPro is planned for later this year. Those who purchase iView Media now will be credited its value against the purchase of iView MediaPro for Windows. This offers Windows users the opportunity to try iView Media and upgrade later if they want more advanced professional features.
