Hear that Faint Whir in Your System?

Listen to your computer ever so carefully and what do you hear -- besides the blasted fan?

It's your hard drive. If it's a new one it is getting in the groove and counting the rotations to failure. If it's an old drive its winding down to its final hours just waiting to die at the positively, absolute worst possible moment.

You know it...we know it.

Normally we could care less but we also know you've stashed hundreds of family vacation, holiday, vacation, sports and special events photos on the drive. And with that digital camcorder you've captured breathtaking family moment and and event memories.

Now we care! All of those fantastic photos and really great videos can disappear in the blink of an eye. Simply hit the wrong key...GONE! Head crashes...GONE! Notebook dropped or stolen...GONE!!

It's a sad tale...

We know...you've been waiting to do some post production work on the photos, videos. But hey you've been busy...and you're human. The path to hell is paved with good intentions and deep down you know that editing/authoring won't get done in this lifetime.

So before those great family/personal photos and videos go south, let's do something about it. Yep you can also help your user group members avoid the same potential fate!

Naturally we'd prefer you would ( and tell your members) store that content on the best media possible -- Verbatim! But the fact is you need to get them to archive those videos/photos regardless of whose media they use.

Storing Images and Video

Actually we've given the family photo/video protection a lot of thought which is why we offer a family of Video DVD media (Uh huh here comes the pitch). No you can't go wrong with any Verbatim disc (CD or DVD) but this is special moments good. In fact you might want to make the copies you make for others on our conventional media and produce an archive on something really special.

That's why we developed Verbatim's new VideoGard hard coating technology. It is 40 times more resistant to damage compared to standard discs without a significant increase in the cost of the media (just a few cents more per disc. It resists abrasion and mishandling by kids and careless, clumsy people (like us).
