BlitzClick Software has released Savvy Clipboard 2.5, an update to its popular clipboard manager for Mac OS X on PowerPC and Intel-based Mac's.Savvy Clipboard
Savvy Clipboard adds multiple Clipboard capability to Mac OS X. It facilitates copying and pasting repeated items, as well as storing frequently used data fragments of various types.
Version 2.5 adds a new capability that will come handy for many users: it now supports brief descriptions to items, which is particularly handy for managing passwords and links.
Other enhancements improve the overall stability and add more convenience in using the program.
You can now label your Clipboard items with short text descriptions for finding and selecting the needed item quickly.
* When you need it, Savvy Clipboard can appear right under your mouse cursor, making it easy to select what the item you want.
* Now it's easy to check for program updates automatically or it manually from the program itself.
* Improvements were made to the "Clear All" command, "Paste as Plain Text" functionality, interaction with MS Office applications, and more.
* Several bugs fixed, and the program has become more stable.

Savvy Clipboard 2.5
Savvy Clipboard 2.5 is available as a shareware download (950 KB) from www.blitzclicksoft.com/products.php.
Upon registration, the extended features become available (e.g., you can then edit clipboard text and specify how many clipboard items Savvy Clipboard — as well as its Popup Menu — should store).
For users of the previous versions of this clipboard manager, the update is available for free.
