Apimac Slideshow adds new features

Apimac Slideshow is a slideshow and presentation tool for multimedia files, movies, sounds and images that allows users to quickly and easily create slideshow presentations and portfolios that can be distributed as freestanding programs for Mac and Windows or as movie files optimized for YouTube, CD-ROMs, the Web, iPod, mobile devices and computers.
Among the other features, the new release of this application sports now a media browser to easily browse photos, music, movies and drag and drop them in the slideshow's file list and a new feature to export any created slideshow to an iDVD project for burning on a DVD.

Also new in release '08 are: new option to save a project as self-contained format to include any external media file to easily move a slideshow file from a computer to another; new instant self-update functionality and some user interface improvements.
Apimac Slideshow lets users personalize a presentation, adapting it to the most varied needs. Users can create presentations and slideshows that can be manually or automatically controlled and personalize the presentation with colored backgrounds, use multiple soundtracks and show images and movies along with their names and custom text.
Apimac Slideshow can handle a wide range of graphic and multimedia formats: QuickTime Movies, QuickTime VR Movies, MP3, MPEG, AutoDesk Animator (FLC), AIFF, AU, WAVE, DV, OpenDML audio files, and all the main graphic formats such as JPEG, TIFF, Pict, Photoshop, PNG, MacPaint, GIF, animated GIF, Windows Bitmap BMP, and SGI.
Apimac Slideshow is a must for anyone who wants to distribute freestanding presentations or collections of movies and images on DVDs, CD-ROMs or any other digital medium.

Apimac Slideshow '08 Release 2 is available immediately for download. This release and is free of charge for registered customers that purchased a license starting from September 1, 2007. Registered users that purchased the license before this date are entitled to upgrade at the special prices reserved to the registered users.
For new users the price is $37 USD for the standard edition for Mac (it creates free-standing presentations for Mac) and $54 USD Professional Edition for Mac (which creates free-standing presentations for Mac and Windows). A free demo is available from the Apimac website.
