This kind of special talent deserves a new visit every few years . . . hopefully there will be many more to come! March 1, 2014
Every year we discover new history and new historic references surrounding Women's History Month. This time I dug into the heroines of the 2nd World War, particularly that image of the strong, iconic bicep-flexing Westinghouse poster image of "Rosie the Riveter"! You thought Norman Rockwell created her, but he didn't . . . and we've got lots more about that era in a very special video presentation to celebrate this year :: our 19th Annual Women's History Month edition! Please enjoy! March 1, 2014

iMovie, once a unique, easy interface for editing and producing movies has turned into a nightmare. Apple's over-stimulated developers have munged the concepts and interface until the program is all but unusable without a doctorate degree in media production. But Noteboom Productions has come to everyone's aid with Tutor for iMovie, their latest video tutorial. February 28, 2014
What do you think about the news? As graphic designers we can be terribly influenced by the news -- or not. How do we digest the deluge of news into thought patterns that contribute to our design creativity in a positive way? Or do we just absorb it all? Does the news shape your life? Are you fed up with it? Do you think it's biased or fed to you through colored filters and glass? Should graphic design reflect the news? No? Yes? Today's article on Tom Ashbrook's "On Point" -- the NPR opinion radio show -- was thought provoking and enlightening. February 27, 2014
