ColorExplorer Palettes from Photos
Simply put, ColorExplorer is an online toolbox for working with color palettes. Being a little more elaborate, the current site is the result of evolvement on my acclaimed ColorMatch 5K project dating back as far as 2001.
Yes, it is absolutely free to use all the features found on the site. You don’t have to register if you don’t want to.

ColoRotate, you can work with colors in 3D
The quest to find the perfect colors and color combinations is a common thread that runs from those who have painted great masterpieces and graphic artists to interior designers and landscapers. As French impressionist Claude Monet said, “Colour is my day-long obsession, joy and torment.”
Like taste and smell, color is a sense that is processed by our brains in multiple dimensions. Yet traditional methods of choosing colors on computers are limited to obscure sliders and flattened two-dimensional viewers. With ColoRotate, you can work with colors in 3D, in real time, and in a way that matches how our minds process color.
There are always lots of spectacular Photoshop images and visuals out there! Share them! We’ll be back shortly with MORE Photoshop Madness … and please —
Of course, some of our favorite editions of Photoshop Madness can be found in the legacy Photoshop Tips & Tricks web site!
