Grant Tucker: Typography is design foundation
Grant Tucker, artist and designer from Houston, Texas, applies his skills using Mac OSX and the Adobe Creative Suite. He writes :
In my mind this is completely and utterly true.. "Typography is the foundation of all true design" I might be wrong but it's just how I perceive it you don't have to agree with me :)
4d 5-hour render with about 2 days of tweaks and stuff in Photoshop CS3

Theo Aartsma: Typography becomes space
Great typography artworks by Theo Aartsma, a Designer from the Netherlands combines type, imagery and space to create extraordinary visions of "place". You really have to see the full size piece to appreciate all the work that went into this! (He's all over the place on just about everyone's blog ... take a look http://ow.ly/2bP1f )

Tyler Lafreniere: Make the most of open type
"Kids with Tools" comes from the visions of Tyler Lafreniere -- a talented visual artist with an interesting story to tell ... from Hampshire College in Massachusetts and Goldsmith's University in London ... now in New York, he has created fine information architecture and design for clients such as Verizon, Adobe, HBO and many more. This 3D type seems to establish a place of its own.

Nik Ainley: Incredible Shiny Binary
Incredible Shiny Binary will blow you away ... as it did me. It's not really about typography -- rather more illustration -- but the use of typography in many of their works is incredible. Nik Ainley is a digital illustrator based in the UK. He has been producing personal and commissioned illustrations for a wide array of clients for over ten years. (This is also a wonderful playground for Photoshop users, and has appeared in Photoshop Madness several times!)
